Irinajafit (Yafi) Joseph is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a wide breadth of experience. Her passion is to bring hope and healing to children, adolescents, and adults, particularly those affected by trauma and abuse. Whether a client has experienced trauma, grief and loss, situational stress, situational changes, or are just feeling “off,” she believes counseling can help. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic practice modalities and interventions to best fit the needs and goals of each individual client including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), anger management, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), parent training, and mindfulness-based approaches.
She has experience in providing counseling services to a variety of individuals, particularly children and adolescents, in various settings within the community, including in-home and school- based services. She has completed specialized training on trauma-informed treatment and utilizes a collaborative and compassionate approach to counseling to foster hope, healing, mindful living, and resilience. Yafi is committed to supporting each client to meet and reach their treatment plan goals and objectives and become the best possible versions of themselves.
She enjoys helping others while using strength-based approaches and integrating various treatment therapies. Yafi’s aim is to empower individuals to create, utilize, and maintain healthy space, boundaries, and balance within their everyday lives.
