Melonie Pinder, LMHC-QS
Melonie is both a Marketing Professional and Mental Health Therapist. She obtained her Marketing degree from the University of Central Florida in 2007 and worked in Marketing and Sales for the Hospitality industry for a decade before switching careers. Once she obtained her Masters in Mental Health Counseling, she focused on therapy and curating her clinical background. Along the journey, Melonie became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-QS), Board Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and a Board Certified National Counselor (NCC). Additionally, she is a Qualified Supervisor (QS) mentoring, training, and supervising other Mental Health Therapist interns whose desire is to become fully licensed therapists in the state of Florida.
Her expertise includes in-home family therapy, school-based services, and criminal justice work in county jails. She provides extensive training on research-based strategies for addressing trauma, domestic and intimate-partner violence, and effective parenting. As a Mental Health expert, Melonie is dedicated to assisting each client meet their treatment goals and become the best possible version of themselves.
As a Clinical Supervisor, she believes in educating, challenging, and encouraging Mental Health interns along their journey. She will not only seek to enhance your knowledge learned in your program, but also assist you from a personal branding and business perspective as well. Her unique background in business and in the Mental Health field helps her to assist clinical interns in sharpening their therapeutic skills and business savvy. Each intern’s success is her success as well and her goal is for you to be fully licensed by the conclusion of her supervision.
