As Chief Executive Officer for Pinder Counseling LLC, Melonie is a Marketing Professional, Mental Health Therapist and Executive Coach. She obtained her Marketing degree from the University of Central Florida in 2007 and worked in Marketing and Sales for the Hospitality industry for a decade before switching careers. Once she obtained her Masters in Mental Health Counseling, she focused on therapy and curating her clinical background. Along the journey, Melonie became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Board Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and a Board Certified National Counselor (NCC).

Her expertise includes in-home family therapy, school-based services, and criminal justice work in county jails. She provides extensive training on research-based strategies for addressing trauma, domestic and intimate-partner violence, and effective parenting. As a Mental Health expert, Melonie is dedicated to assisting each client meet their treatment goals and become the best possible version of themselves.

Not willing to forgo her experience and knowledge in the Marketing field, Melonie has merged both her Marketing and Mental Health Counseling degrees. She facilitates group discussions and workshops presenting to others on a wide array of Mental Health related issues in an effort to reduce the stigma. Additionally, she provides consultation to clinicians on attaining additional streams of revenue, making themselves more marketable in the industry, and uncovering methods for them to do what they love while being compensated accordingly. Melonie is also a Practice Self Regulation™ National Trainer and the company’s designated Marketing Coordinator.

In her spare time, Melonie continues to perfect her craft through continuing education and association memberships. She is a member of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association, and American Mental Health Counselors Association. Additionally, she actively volunteers for a teen mentoring organization L.A.N.E.S. Teen Girls and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
