Melonie Pinder – Chief Executive Officer, Pinder Counseling LLC
Melonie Pinder serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Pinder Counseling LLC, bringing a unique blend of expertise as a Marketing Professional, Mental Health Therapist, and Executive Coach. She earned her Marketing degree from the University of Central Florida in 2007 and spent a decade building a successful career in Marketing and Sales within the hospitality industry before transitioning to mental health. After completing her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, at Capella University, Melonie dedicated herself to clinical practice, earning licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), as well as Board Certification as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC).
Melonie’s clinical expertise spans in-home family therapy, school-based services, and criminal justice interventions in county jails. She provides extensive training in research-based strategies for addressing trauma, domestic and intimate-partner violence, and effective parenting. As a mental health professional, she is deeply committed to helping clients achieve their treatment goals and become the best version of themselves.
Leveraging her background in Marketing and years of experience in corporate America, Melonie has seamlessly combined her two fields of expertise. She facilitates group discussions, workshops, trainings and keynote presentations on a broad range of mental health topics, working to reduce stigma and increase awareness. Additionally, she provides coaching to business executives further melding her business acumen and mental health experience.
Outside of her professional work, Melonie remains committed to growth and development through continuing education and active professional association involvement. She also volunteers with L.A.N.E.S. Teen Girls, a teen mentoring organization, and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
