Job Summary:
Pinder Counseling is currently looking for licensed therapists who are interested in working to enhance the mental wellness of people within the Florida area.
Candidates are expected to be fully Licensed, have the ability to work independent and remotely as well as competent in delivering competent mental health services to individuals, couples and families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to phase of life situations and/or mental health concerns.
Essential Functions:

- Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical mental health therapy to individuals (including teens), couples or families
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Maintain required client contact
- Maintain good standing with the appropriate professional board entities
- Maintain liability insurance
- Complete and maintain all required continuing education requirements for specific licensure and specializations
- Stay current with updated research and best practices in your field of study
- Be aware of community referral sources and refer when necessary
- Maintain up to date case files within electronic health record (EHR) system
- Maintain contact with and consulting with third parties and collateral contacts when appropriate
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge
- Advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations when/if necessary
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Skill in applying varied interventions with individuals/families in crisis
- Skill in working with a variety of cultures and remain committed to cultural competency improvements when necessary
- Skill in working independently and implementing time management strategies
- Ability to provide necessary self-care and demonstrate appropriate professional boundaries and behavior
- Awareness of personal strengths and limitations
Preferred Abilities:
- Morning and/or evening availability for sessions
- Skilled and trained to see teens (ages 13 and up) and adults
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Counseling or Related Field
- Appropriate state credentials and licensing required and in good standing:
- LMHC
- LMFT
- LCSW
- Licensed Psychologists
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The position is 100% remote
